Before Fame
She started taking piano lessons at the age of six. She later went on to study music at Brown University and Columbia University.
Trivia
Switched-On Bach won three Grammy Awards in 1969. Her solar eclipse photography has been published by NASA. She earned her master's degree in Music Composition from Columbia. She met Robert Moog while attending the University, which ultimately foraged their future collaborations.
