British historian and author mostly known for her book, "Elizabeth's Women" which recounts the influence of the powerful women surrounding Elizabeth I of England. She has also published a collection of other non-fiction histories, and even three fiction novels.
Before Fame
She earned her PhD in History from the University of Hull in 1997.
Trivia
In 2022, she was made Honorary Chancellor of Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln, England. "Elizabeth's Women" became a BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week in 2009. Her collection of non-fiction titles includes ten books.
Family Life
She and her husband live in southwest London. They got married at the Tower of London.
