Bulgarian sculptor who pioneered Elemental Sculpture and was best known for his kinetic sculptures that were located at Guernsey UK's Artparks Sculpture Park, Sydney's Sculpture by the Sea, and the Venice Sculpture Park. His bronze sculpture, Totem, was erected for the Millennium celebration in New Town Square in Hamilton, Scotland.
Before Fame
He earned his Master's degree at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria, graduating in 1977. He began his career in public sculpture and Elemental Sculpture in 1975.
Trivia
His sculpture, "Dance," was one of 19 placed permanently in the Olympic Buildings for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
