Before Fame
After graduating from the Cornell University of Architecture, Art, and Planning, he initiated his career under the employment of legendary architects such as Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, George Nelson, and I. M. Pei. In 1978, he was hired to renovate the townhome of notable artist Andy Warhol in Manhattan, which ultimately led to the high demand for his services by wealthy art clients, aristocrats, and other societal VIPs worldwide.
Trivia
The French Ministry of Culture awarded him the Officier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2012 for his substantial impact on the arts throughout France. He also earned several Design Awards from the American Institute of Architects New York in 2018.
