Bermudian former professional soccer player and coach who is best known for playing as a striker for Manchester City. He also played for Rotherham United, Bristol City and Manchester United. He went on to become a youth coach at Manchester City.
Before Fame
At the age of 17, he left home to further his education in the United States, where he had a soccer scholarship at Columbia High School. During his Thanksgiving break, back home in Bermuda, he was spotted by scouts from Manchester United, who invited him to England for a trial.

In September 2006, his autobiography, "Feed the Goat: The Shaun Goater Story" was published.
Family Life
His mother is Lynette. He married his childhood sweetheart, Anita. They have two daughters, Amaya and Anais.
