Ricky Council IV

About

Shooting guard and athlete who played college basketball at Wichita State University and the University of Arkansas. He went undrafted in the 2023 NBA draft, then went on to sign a two-way contract with the Philadelphia 76ers. 

Before Fame

He played high school basketball at Southern School of Energy and Sustainability and was rated as a three-star recruit. 

Trivia

He was named the 2022 AAC Sixth Man of the Year after his sophomore season at Wichita State. He then transferred to Arkansas and was a Second-Team All-SEC selection in his only season as a Razorback in 2022-23. He stands six feet, six inches tall and weighs close to 210 pounds.

Family Life

His older brothers, Ricky II and Ricky III, both played college basketball as well.

He was teammates with forward Anthony Black at Arkansas.  During his rookie season in the NBA. he was coached by Nick Nurse.
