Before Fame
She attended Dowling Catholic High School in West Des Moines, Iowa. While there, she was a two-time MaxPreps high school All-American, a Naismith All-American, and the winner of the Gatorade Iowa Girls' Basketball Player of the Year award.
Trivia
Along with her impressive on-court accolades, she is also a member of the National Honors Society and the Presidential Honor Roll. In 2021, she recorded back-to-back 30-point triple-doubles. She signed a large endorsement deal with Gatorade in December of 2023. She announced that she will be declaring for the WNBA draft in 2024. She also became the all-time top scorer in NCAA history that year. She was drafted as the first overall pick by the Indiana Fever in the 2024 WNBA draft.
Family Life
She is the daughter of Brent Clark and Anne Nizzi-Clark. Eleven of her family members have played sports in college, including her dad, who played baseball and basketball at Simpson College, as well as her older brother Blake, who plays football at Iowa State University. She began dating Connor McCaffery in 2023.
