Before Fame

His youth career began with the club Horoya at the age of nine. After several years with the club, he made his senior career debut with the FC Istres in 2013. That same year he made his debut with Guinea's national team as well.

He has won several awards and honors for his work with the RB Leipzig club including Team of the Year during their 2016-2017 season as well as Squad of the Season at the UEFA Europa League Championships during 2017-2018 season.
