He started his career in journalism at the age of 15 when he created his own English language sports magazine. He then studied English at Damascus University before completing his masters in the United Kingdom. While completing his masters, he worked for MBC and started announcing football games for Asdda Kas Alallam. He later became Head of MBC Sports.
