Former NCAA and NBA Champion best known for his defensive versatility. Although he primarily plays the position of power forward, he is often seen guarding players one through five. Following his 2021 season in the G League, he earned first-team All-NBA honors as well as making the NBA G League All-Defensive Team and NBA G League All-Rookie Team.
Before Fame
As a high school student, he was once considered a four-star prospect. Shortly after graduating, he then enrolled in the University of Virginia as a freshman in 2016.
Trivia
He is one of less than five basketball players ever in NBA history to win an NCAA Championship, a G League Championship, and NBA Finals all within a three-year span. Despite not playing many minutes with the Milwaukee Bucks, he eventually helped his team defeat the Phoenix Suns in six games to win the 2021 NBA title.
Family Life
Although he was born in Conakry, Guinea, he and his family later relocated to the United States. He is one of four siblings.
