American swimmer and athlete who has set multiple world records in the pool. In the year 2024, she broke the Olympic record in the women's 100m butterfly semifinals with a time of 55.38 seconds. She has competed in events including the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly, 100-yard backstroke, 4×50 yard freestyle relay, 4×50 yard medley relay, 4×100 yard freestyle relay, and 4×100 yard medley relay.

Before Fame

In the year 2015, she qualified for a national junior competition at age 12. 

Trivia

In the year 2016, she qualified to swim at the U.S. Olympic trials at the young age of 13. She was the youngest participant at the event. She attended the University of Virginia prior to making the decision to devote all her time and attention to the sport of swimming.

Her sister is swimmer Alex Walsh. Their parents are Glynis and Robert Walsh.
