David Mayo

NFL linebacker and special teams player that was initially taken as a fifth round pick in the 2015 Draft by the Carolina Panthers. He was later signed by the Washington Commanders in March 2021. During his NFL career, he has also played for the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants.

Before Fame

He previously played college football at Texas State University. Following his senior season, he was named the 2014 Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year.

Trivia

He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Jacksonville Jaguars during week one of the 2015 regular season. He and his team won the game 20-9.

He grew up living with his family in the St. Helens, Oregon area.
