Spin-off of the popualr Top Chef series which became the marquee program for Universal Kids, an NBCUniversal-owned children's channel. It features chefs aged 9-14 competing to win $50,000 and the title of Top Chef Junior.
Trivia
Vanessa Lachey was hired as the host of the show and judges included Curtis Stone, Tiffany Derry, Antonia Lofaso and Graham Elliot. The show was originally ordered by Bravo in 2008 for an eight-episode run but never aired.
Winners
Owen Pereira won season 1 while Nikki Bidun won the second season.
