Grammy Hall of Fame inducted song of The Beatles which evolved from the song "Hey Jules" that Paul McCartney wrote to comfort John Lennon's son Jules.
It was the first single from the Beatles' record label Apple Records. It sat at No. 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100 all-time chart and tied the all-time record in 1968 for the longest run at the top of the US charts (9 weeks).
