Historical drama series that chronicles the arrival of Western influence during a period of turmoil towards the end of the Sengoku period in late 1600s Japan. The series was created by Rachel Kondo and Justin Marks. It is based on the novel by James Clavell.
Trivia
The show's first season was nominated for 25 Emmy Awards in 2024. The success of the first season led to the green lighting of seasons 2 and 3.
