Private educational institution located in Hamden, Connecticut. The university offers a variety of degrees through its College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Engineering, School of Communication, School of Health Sciences, School of Law, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Education.
The institution was founded by business professor and politician Samuel W. Tator. The institution closed from 1943 to 1945 as the entire student body was drafted into World War II.
