Guitarist, singer and songwriter known as a founding member of the reggae band The Green. The group formed in 2009. He has performed across the United States, Japan and New Zealand. The group's self-titled debut was recognized by iTunes as the Best Reggae Album of 2010.
Before Fame
As a child, he listened to reggae or Hawaiian music on the radio. In high school, he was in a band that played school parties in Kailua.
Trivia
In 2014, his band received three prestigious Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards, which are considered Hawaii's equivalent of the Grammys. In 2019, his band released an acoustic set of their greatest hits, Black & White. He has since launched a podcast, titled The Explicit Aloha Podcast. The show hit their 100th episode mark in December of 2022.
Family Life
He became a first-time father during the 2020 pandemic.
