About

Singer represented by Yuehua Entertainment who is most famous for becoming the first place winner of the Mnet reality competition series Boys Planet. As a result, he became a member of the show's K-pop boy group ZEROBASEONE in July of 2023. Having been born in China, he became the first ever foreigner to win first place in a South Korean reality competition show in the music genre. 

Before Fame

After placing first out of all the students from his home province in the art student national college entrance exam, he attended Fujian Normal University, where he majored in music education. He also became certified to teach music to students enrolled in secondary school. He made his Boys Planet debut on December 29, 2022, as a member of G-Group in the performance of the song, "Here I Am." 

Trivia

In addition to singing, he also plays the violin, cello, viola, and piano. ZEROBASEONE released their debut album, "Youth in the Shade" on July 10, 2023. As the first-place winner of Boys Planet, he won his solo track on the album, which was titled "Always." 

Family Life

He enjoys a close relationship with his mother as well as his cousin, who he refers to as his younger brother.
