Zaid Romero

About

Soccer star and athlete who became famous for being a left-footed central defender. In June of 2024, he signed a four-year contract with Club Brugge in Belgium. He signed a contract until the year 2028. He is very tall, standing at 6'5".

Before Fame

In the year 2019, he made his professional soccer debut with Godoy Cruz.

Trivia

Godoy Cruz loaned him out to Villa Dálmine and LDU Quito.  In the year 2022, he was acquired by Estudiantes de La Plata. At the end of February 2021, Romero was sent out on loan to Primera Nacional club Villa Dálmine for the rest of the year. He left the club and returned to Godoy Cruz at the end of 2021, with a total of 25 appearances for the club.

Family Life

His grandfather, Domingo, watched him compete. He died in 2024 aged 77.
