Before Fame

He developed a passion for film and entertainment at an early age. He pursued his love for film and TV academically by studying film theory at the University of Michigan. He moved to Los Angeles after graduation to begin his career in the entertainment industry. He started out as an assistant editor and worked on ads and trailers before transitioning into TV show editing. His big break came when he began editing for the show Burn Notice in 2010.

Trivia

He directed the documentary GO FAR: The Christopher Rush Story, which was narrated by Mark Hamill.  He has taught several film editing classes at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. He is passionate about fitness and has competed in Tough Mudder, Spartan Race, and American Ninja competitions.

Family Life

He was born and raised in a small dairy farming community in Northern Wisconsin. He has two children.
