At age twelve he became the second youngest person to be nominated for a Grammy Award, along with his brothers.

Family Life

Aside from his bandmate brothers, he has four other siblings. He married Kathryn Tucker on June 3, 2006. They have five children. Their youngest, Quincy Joseph Thoreau, was born in March 2021.
