Actress, pin-up model, and singer most known for her role as the mistress in the movie Attack of the 50 Foot Woman. She would fall into obscurity and fatally isolate herself within her California home for the remainder of her life. She was last seen alive in the year 2010, but her mummified body would not be discovered in her home in Beverly Hills until April 27, 2011 by a neighbor. The coroner was unable to date even an approximate time of death and believes she may of been dead for at least a year, but they did determine the cause of death was coronary artery disease.  

Before Fame

Her Hollywood career was short lived and towards the end of the 1950s she began posing for Playboy magazine and other men's adult magazines. The last two projects were in the early 1990s, as she released a jazz album and appeared in her final film role in the horror film Evil Spirits.

Her last prominent film role was as Lily Peters in the western Hud alongside star of the film, Paul Newman

Family Life

She was married and divorced three times. She had no children. She did have a 15 year on-and-off again affair with actor Jim Hutton. It was also rumored she had affairs with Cary Grant during the 1950s and 60s.

Her first appearance on screen was in the only film ever directed by famous movie star James Cagney, a film titled Short Cut to Hell.
