Before Fame
After graduating from Huntington Beach High School, she began modelling and appearing in television commercials. Trivia
In 2012, she wrote to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos to request that he cease promoting the book Lost at Sea, which was written by private investigator Philip Klein. The book documented Klein's detailed findings after his three-year hunt for her ex-husband Philip McDermott, including claims that McDermott was alive and well and living in a small city in Mexico despite having been previously declared lost at sea by the U.S. Coast Guard after disappearing from a fishing charter boat in 2005.
