Before Fame
He won the Rwandatel Jingle Contest in the year 2009 when he was just 14 years old. This ultimately sparked his passion for creating music. He attended the University of Rwanda and earned a BA in business information and technology.
Trivia
He released his debut single '"Injyana" in the year 2015. He was the first Rwandan musician to win the Prix Decouvertes RFI musical award in the year 2018. His YouTube video "Yvan Buravan BigTime (Official Video)" garnered more than 3.6 million views.
Family Life
He was born Yvan Burabyo. He was born and raised in Gikondo, Rwanda. He was the youngest of six siblings. He passed away on the date of August 17th, 2022 in India after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
