Japanese animator, artist, entertainer, and action choreographer known for his work on Cowboy Bebop: The Movie (2001), My Hero Academia (2017-2020), One Punch Man (2015), Pokémon (1997-2004), and Fullmetal Alchemist (2004).
Before Fame
He attended and graduated from Yoyogi Animation Gakuin. His work first appeared in two episodes of the anime Fist of the North Star in 1985. His big career break occurred in 1996 with his work on The Vision of Escaflowne.
Trivia
His animation signature is drawing debris as simple cubes, which has been dubbed "Yutapon Cubes." His work on the "Sword of the Stranger" anime film is often cited as being one of the greatest action sequences in anime history.
Family Life
He was born and raised in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.
