Yusei Yagi

About

Pop singer and actor famous for being a member of the group FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE. He earned his place in the group after winning the EXILE Presents VOCAL BATTLE AUDITION 5 in 2017. As an actor, he has starred in the BL drama series Utsukushii Kare. He's also played the role of Yamaguchi Magoroku in the 2022 film High & Low the Worst X. 

Before Fame

He initially intended to pursue a career in soccer, but an injury he sustained in college led him to focus on his dream of becoming a performing artist. After winning the semi-grand prix prize from the Mr. & Miss Best Body Supermodel 2016 Japan Tournament, he was offered a job as a personal trainer.

Trivia

In September 2022, he won the "Outstanding Asian Star Prize" from the Seoul International Drama Awards for his performance in Utsukushii Kare. He also earned an "Outstanding New Actor Award" from the WEIBO Account Festival in December 2022.

Family Life

He was raised by his single mother.

One of his fellow FANTASTICS bandmates is Sekai Yamamoto. Members of EXILE include Takahiro Tasaki, Nesmith, and Shokichi.
