This Japanese pop singer first came to fame as one of the stars in Ultraman Zearth and Ultraman Zearth 2: Superhuman Big Battle--Light and Shadow, which were released in the late 90s. Her character Tohru Hoshimi encouraged Katsuto, the future hero Ultraman Zearth, not to be afraid after the evil Shadow had defeated him in battle the first time they'd met. Hoshimi is a member of the Mydo--the Mysterious Yonder Defense Organization.
Before Fame
Takaoka was only 17 when she filmed Ultraman Zearth--which was a parody of the original 1968 Ultraman and released on the 30th anniversary of the 1966 TV debut of Ultraman.
Trivia
She released her major label CD, Realize, in 2006. After the Ultraman movies, she appeared in TV dramas and commercials before becoming a singer, working with the music production team War Rock.

She is a big fan of the Japanese boy band V6 member Ken Miyake.
