Yoshihiro Togashi

Japanese manga artist who is best known for illustrating Yu Yu Hakusho and Hunter × Hunter series. These series were published in the popular Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine.

Before Fame

While attending Yamagata University, he submitted his work to Weekly Young Jump and was first published in 1986. 

Trivia

He has received the new comic Tezuka Award for his Buttobi Straight series.

Family Life

He was born in Shinjō, Yamagata. His wife is fellow artist Naoko Takeuchi and together they have two children. He and his wife have collaborated on a children's book.
