Ethiopian-born Israeli model and pageant contestant who is known for winning the title of Miss Israel in 2013, becoming the first black model to do so. She went on to compete in the 2013 Miss Universe pageant in Moscow as well. She was named by The Jerusalem Post as the 39th Most Influential Jew of 2013.
Before Fame
She first moved to Israel at the age of twelve to live with her grandparents. She learned Hebrew in high school and went on to win first place at a student film competition. Upon graduating from Kfar HaNoar HaDati, she served as a Lieutenant in the Military Police Corps and then began working at a clothing store where she was first discovered as a model. She went on to compete in Miss Israel in 2013.
Trivia
She also appeared and competed in the seventh season of the Israeli edition of Survivor and placed second in the competition.
