Yi Zhuo Ning

About

KPop singer who goes by the stage name Ningning and is a member of the South Korean Girl Group Aespa. In October of 2020, the final lineup of Aespa was revealed with her as the third member. Other members include Winter, Giselle and Karina. They debuted in November of 2020 with the single, "Black Mamba". In January of 2022, they were the inaugural winner of the Artist of the Year at the Golden Disc Awards. They played Coachella in April of 2022. 

Before Fame

She was born in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China, which borders on Russia. She graduated from the Harbin Normal University Affiliated High School and from Beijing Contemporary Music Academy. She was recruited by an SM Entertainment staff member in 2016 after they watched her perform, and she became a member of the S.M. Rookies.  

Trivia

She competed in many singing programs in China, including China's Got Talent Season 2, New Sound Generation and the Harbin Silver Valley Fuxing Concert where she performed Rolling in the Deep by Adele. In May of 2022, she and her bandmates were included in the Time's Next Generation Leaders list. In June of 2022, Aespa signed with Warner Records. 

Family Life

Her father was an engineer and her mother was a singer. She is an only child.
