Russian volleyball player who was a member of the national team that won the gold medal at the 2006 Volleyball World Championship in Japan, and the silver medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. She also competed in the 1996 and 2008 Summer Olympics. She also participated in the 2004 FIVB World Grand Prix. She retired in October of 2011.
Before Fame
She began playing volleyball in 1984 at the Uralochka Sports School in Russia. She played for the Yekaterinburg Uralochka team, which was victorious in the Russian Women's Volleyball Championship for 7 years in a row. She made her debut as a member of the Russian national team in 1995 playing games against the Japanese national team.

She received several individual awards during her career. She received the "Best Blocker" award during the FIVB World Grand Prix in 1999. In 2006, she won the World Championship's "Best Server" award. She received the honor of Master of Sports for Russia in the year 2000. She is very tall at a height of 6'5".
