Yegor Sharangovich

About

Professional center that was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils during the fifth round of the 2018 National Hockey League Entry Draft. Prior to playing in the NHL, he played for HC Dinamo Minsk of the Kontinental Hockey League. During his professional career, he has also been selected to represent the Belarusian men's national team.

Before Fame

He first began his soccer career playing for the Dinamo-Raubichi Minsk youth squad. He also played for Vysshaya Liga as a teenager. 

Trivia

He scored his first career NHL goal playing against the Boston Bruins on January 16, 2021. His team defeated the Bruins 2-1 in overtime. Throughout his professional playing career, he has played in over 150 games. 

Family Life

He lives along with his wife, Darya, and their pet dog in the New Jersey area. The couple announced that they were expecting via an Instagram post in September 2022. In December 2022, they welcomed their son Christian.
