Russian poet, musician, singer-songwriter, and audio engineer best known as the founder and leader of the post-punk/psychedelic rock band Grazhdanskaya Oborona. He's also well known for his songs "Everything goes according to plan," "About a fool," and "My defense."
Before Fame
From a young age, he and his older brother had health issues, and he experienced clinical deaths in his childhood. After graduating from school, he went to live with his brother in Moscow, where he learned to play the drums and the bass guitar. He then enrolled in a professional technical school as a builder, later working as a plasterer.

Family Life
He is the son of Fyodor Letov and Tamara Letova. He was married to Natalia Chumakova between 1997 to 2008. His older brother is the free jazz saxophonist Sergey Letov.
