Before Fame

She earned a degree in economics from the University of College London. She then earned a Master's degree in management from the London School of Economics. She also has an MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. She became the head of research and development at Jigsaw in the year 2006.

Trivia

She gave the TED Talk "How technology can fight extremism and online harassment" in June 2018 which received over 2.8 million views. She played basketball in school and played on the national United Kingdom under-16 basketball team before attending university. She has co-chaired the European Commission's Working Group on Online Radicalization and is a fellow of the Aspen Institute.

She was born Yasmin Dolatabadi. She was born in Iran in 1981. Her family fled Iran when she was 3 years old in 1984. She grew up in London before moving to the United States. She married Adam Green and they have one child together.
