Chinese professional wrestler who performs under the ring name "Boa" or "Big Boa." He began performing on the NXT brand of World Wrestling Entertainment in the year 2019. He and wrestler Xia Li are both former members of the pro wrestling stable Tian Sha and have been significant players in one another's story arcs. They have also joined forces in tag team matches against opponents like Jake Atlas and Mercedes Martinez. As a solo wrestler, he has also defeated contenders including Wesley Blake and James Michael Curtin (Drake Maverick.)
Before Fame
He auditioned for the WWE in Shanghai and was subsequently signed to the promotion in September 2016. He joined several other recruits from China at the WWE Performance Center, where he adopted the ring name "Big Boa" and was trained by Robbie Brookside. He made his NXT debut in July 2019 in the NXT Breakout Tournament.
Trivia
In a November episode of NXT, he was possessed by the spirit of pro wrestling stable Tian Sha, resulting in his inheritance of its powers. He also has a fireball-launching alter-ego, as shown in his January 2022 brawl with Solo Sikoa.
