Actress, filmmaker, and designer who rose to fame with her debut professional acting role as Yessica in the 2001 drama film Violet Perfume: Nobody Hears You. She also earned substantial recognition and acclaim for her performance as Claudia in the 2013 comedy/drama film The Amazing Catfish. She created, wrote, directed, and starred in the role of Esperanza in the 2012 comedy film Yo También soy Marilyn.

Before Fame

While attending primary school, she received training to play the violin at an art center. However, she later realized that acting was her true passion. Her feature film and professional acting debut was in the highly-acclaimed drama Violet Perfume: Nobody Hears You, for which she won numerous accolades.

She won Best Actress from the Ariel Awards, the Guadalajara International Film Festival, and the Havana Film Festival for her performance in the 2001 film Violet Perfume: Nobody Hears You. She was also the recipient of a Best Actress Award from the Gran Fiesta De Cine Mexicano for her role in the 2013 movie The Amazing Catfish, which also won Best Film at the Baja International Film Festival.

Family Life

She is the daughter of Ernesto Ayala Mercado and Gloria Dulcie Bluske Castellanos. She and her father founded a handbag and accessory company called HomoHabilis. She has a sister named Gloria Ernesta and a brother named Rodrigo Ayala. Her maternal grandparents were William Randolph Bluske Timm and Candelaria Petrona Castellanos Mealla.
