Xavier Savage

Professional winger and fullback that was signed by the Canberra Raiders of the National Rugby League in 2021. He played in six games for Canberra prior to tearing his AC shoulder joint during the 2022 club season. He scored just four points during the 2022 season. 

Before Fame

Before turning pro, he played for the junior rugby Cairns Brothers as a teenager. 

Trivia

He made his professional rugby debut playing against the St. George Illawarra Dragons. He played in his first career rugby match as a concussion replacement. 

Family Life

Savage was born in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. He is an Indigenous Australian and a Torres Strait Islander. He lived with his mother and his sister, Jaidah.
