About
Multi award-winning actor, writer, and director who rose to fame with his portrayal of Lance Corporal Harold W. Dawson in the 1992 Academy Award-nominated drama film A Few Good Men. He went on to write and direct the critically-acclaimed short films Broken and The Long Wait. He also served as a contributing writer for the short film Sanvean, in which he also co-starred. His long list of acting credits has grown to include guest appearances on hit television series such as NCIS, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Bones, as well as feature films including Butterfly Caught and The Student.
Before Fame
He graduated with a degree in fine arts from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. After graduating, he worked as a file clerk for Columbia Pictures and in the mail room at Castle Rock Entertainment before being hired as Rob Reiner's personal assistant on the set of the 1990 thriller film based on the Stephen King book of the same name Misery, which starred James Caan and Kathy Bates. Reiner originally hired him to be the location manager for A Few Good Men, but he later asked him to audition for the role of Lance Corporal Harold Dawson.

His multiple accolades include a Best Actor and Best Screenplay Award from the 2018 Show Low Film Festival for his short film Sanvean, as welll as Best Short Film Awards from Worldfest Houston and the Beaufort Inernational Film Festival for his short film The Long Wait. He also received an Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture nomination from the 1995 NAACP Image Awards for his performance in A Few Good Men.
Family Life
He is the son of Dorothea Bodison, who is employed by the National Institutes of Health. His father tragically passed away in a car accident when he was just a child.
