About

More popularly known by his stage name Willie Macc, this actor, comedian, and sometime photographer has 8,000 followers on Twitter. He and his brother Jonathan debuted their home-renovation show My Flipping Family on HGTV in February of 2022.

Before Fame

Growing up in Florissant, Missouri, just outside of St. Louis, Willie and his brother Jonathan, along with their three older brothers, were put to work by their father, Willie McMiller Sr., helping him upgrade the houses he would buy and resell. Their dad often paid them in gummy bears. After majoring in marketing at American InterContinental University, Willie started out as the funny man on BET's reality-TV hit, College Hill Virgin Islands, in the Spring of 2007. He then moved back to Los Angeles from the Virgin Islands, notching appearances in multiple episodes of CSI and Journeyman. He has also appeared in commercials for Residence Inn, Kia, Applebee's, Subway, Honda, Taco Bell, and more.

Trivia

He attributes his big-screen break to his appearance in the 2008 comedy spoof "Meet the Spartans," where he cracked a "Yo Mama" joke at an opponent of the Spartan army. In 2017, he and his brother Jonathan started Macc Boyz Properties, which, up to the debut of their My Flipping Family show, had renovated and sold eight homes and one commercial property.

Family Life

His father is a pastor and his mother an elementary school teacher. One of Willie and Jon's goals for their My Flipping Family show is to reframe the image of St. Louis.
