Real estate mogul "Billy" who started the William Macklowe Company, which offers both commercial and residential real estate development. He began the firm in 2010, after leaving his father's firm, where he had been working since 1997 and been president since 2008.

He grew up in a Jewish family in New York City. He followed in his father's footsteps pursuing a career in real estate investment.

Trivia

In 2020 he purchased the infamous Park Slope development site in Brooklyn, New York, for $59 million dollars. He has been featured in such publications as Vogue Magazine and Page Six. 

Family Life

His father Harry Macklowe was a famous real estate developer. He has a sister named Elizabeth. He was married to Tory Burch in 1993, but they divorced in the same year. He married American beauty entrepreneur Julie Macklowe in 2004 and has two daughters with her named Zoe and Dylan.

In August 2022 he and his wife Julie hosted a Barbie Dreamhouse themed pool party in the Hamptons, where Dylan Lauren, daughter of Ralph Lauren, was in attendance.
