Author, teacher, writer, speaker, and lecturer who is known for being the founder of the Natural Dharma Fellowship, for founding the Wonderwell Mountain Refuge, and for her books The Wakeful Body: Somatic Mindfulness as a Path to Freedom (2021), The Arts of Contemplative Care: Pioneering Voices in Buddhist Chaplaincy and Pastoral Work (2012), Everyday Dharma: Seven Weeks to Finding the Buddha in You (2009), and Essence of Ambrosia (2005).
Before Fame
She trained at a Buddhist monastery for 12 years. She attended two Buddhist retreats. She published her first book on Buddhism in 2005.
