Will Skelton

About

Professional Australian rugby player who has played for both Australian and French teams. He is known for his professional rugby career and for being named captain of the Wallabies team in 2023 for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, and for leading the French team La Rochelle to several championships. 

Before Fame

He played junior rugby league for the Wentworthville Magpies before taking up rugby at age 15 for Hills Sports High School in Seven. His Hills Sports High School team competed in the World Youth Championships in Japan. He then joined the Sydney University rugby club in the year 2010 before he began playing professionally in the year 2014.  

Trivia

He is known for being one of the largest professional rugby players with a height of 6 feet 8 inches. He also weighs 320 pounds. He is of Samoan heritage. 

Family Life

He was born in Auckland, New Zealand. He moved with his family to Sydney, Australia when he was ten years old. He has a younger brother named Cameron who is also a rugby player, and another younger brother named Logan. He is the cousin of rugby players Brad Mika and Jeral Skelton. He has a son named Julius with Kate Skelton.
