Before Fame

Growing up, she sang in church and played in a number of Christian bands.

For three years, she'd worked as a songwriter with Sleeping Giant Music Group. 

Family Life

She moved to Los Angeles after college. While there, she fell into depression and anxiety which forced her father to come and bring her back home with her family.
