Former NBA player and coach that played professionally for seven years. Following his 1949 season, he was named a member of the second team All-NBL. He later began his professional coaching career in 1950. He became the longest lived NBA player in history at the age of 101.

He is a graduate of Penn State University. Shortly after graduating, he then enlisted in the United States Army during World War II.
Trivia
On June 19, 2022, he became 100 years old. He is actually the first ever NBA player to reach the century mark.
