Werner Faymann

About

Former Chancellor of Austria and politician that served in this position from the year 2008 up until the year 2016. He has also served as Austria's Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology, as well as a Member of the National Council.

Before Fame

He is a graduate of the University of Vienna. Shortly after graduating, he began working as the provincial chairman of the Socialist Youth Vienna. 

Trivia

Besides politics, he also has a passion for banking and finances. He even worked as a consultant for Bank Austria. In the year 2008, he was named Chair of the Social Democratic Party. He is a practitioner of the Roman Catholic religion.

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his family in Vienna, Austria. He is now a husband and father of two children.
