About

Singer/songwriter, music producer, and model most noted for originally discovering Lady Gaga. Her single "Dancing with the Sea," which was released by Universal, hit #8 on the music charts and presented the opportunity for her to tour Europe. She was a featured performer at MI Fest and at the Cinemoi Network's charity event for Children Uniting Nations at Cannes Film Festival. She also performed in Linda Perry's Rock-N-Relief Concert at Dodger Stadium.

Before Fame

She was performing in night clubs when she was approached by a member of Donna Karan's team and asked to model for DKNY. This helped her earn recognition rather quickly, and she signed with her first agency soon afterwards.

Trivia

She has accomplished numerous achievements throughout her career, some of which include being named VH1's Best Emerging Artist and being honored by The Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Family Life

Her childhood babysitter Rosetta Atkins was like a second mother to her and taught her how to sing at a very young age. Her grandfather is an artist, painter, and sculptor, while her uncle is a guitarist.
