About
Retired NBA player who was drafted out of college by the Golden State Warriors and later played for the New Jersey Nets. He was known for his rebounding abilities, finishing as the second-best rebounder in the NCAA in both 1981 and 1982. He is six feet and nine inches tall, and played Power Forward with the number 44.
Before Fame
He attended Ardenne High School in Kingston where he also exceled in basketball. He graduated courtesy of an athletic scholarship from Loyola University Chicago in 1982. He won the coveted NCAA Horizon League Men's Basketball Player of the Year award in 1980.
Trivia
After his American career waned, he moved to Italy and professionally played for Italian basketball teams. He was a second-round draft pick in the NBA Draft in 1982 and went 38th overall to the Golden State Warriors.
Family Life
He and his family moved from Kingston in 1978 to the United States so that he could play college basketball for the Loyola Chicago Ramblers.
