Before Fame

Prior to joining the Exploited, he served in the British Army. The band released their debut album, Punks Not Dead, in 1981.

Trivia

During a tour in 2014, he suffered a heart attack on stage, forcing the band to cancel their tour.

Family Life

He married Gena Buchan. His brother Wullie became the drummer for The Exploited.

Associated With

He's expressed a particular distaste for the band Green Day, and nearly got into a fight with Billie Joe Armstrong after having to present the singer with an award.
