Veteran left winger and athlete that was originally taken by the Carolina Hurricanes as a second round pick in the 2014 NHL draft. After four seasons with Carolina, he was then acquired by the Edmonton Oilers via trade in July of 2021. He later signed a multi-year deal with the Oilers on July 31, 2021.
Before Fame
Prior to his NHL career, he played collegiate hockey at St. Andrew's College. He later transferred to the University of New Hampshire in 2014.
Trivia
He made his official NHL debut as a member of the Hurricanes while playing against the Ottawa Senators on March 25, 2018. During the game, he scored his first NHL goal and collected his first assist in a 4-1 victory. He stands 6'2" tall and weighs just over 200 pounds.
