Best known for competing at the 2012 Summer Olympics, where he placed 34th in the Men's Laser class. He also competed in the 2016 Olympics in Rio and the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. He has been the Belgian Laser champion seven times since 2013. He broke a record in 2001 for being the first sixteen-year-old to reach the prestigious 'Gold Fleet' at the European Championship in Poland.
